6mm CHUNKY Satin Bank with a 6x8mm Heritage Teardrop Bezel

    • Handmade in the UK, these rings will be beautiful for your inclusions of your choice. 

    • SILVER TYPE: The bezel or cup for the stone is Solid 925 Sterling Silver and the band is made from Solid 940 Argentium Silver which is Anti-Tarnish and just as strong as 925.

    • COMFORT: These are lightweight rings and very comfortable to wear.  The bezels are a thin solid silver that is able to be burnished over the stone if preferred.

    • SIZES: These rings can be made in any size and if your size is not listed please choose "OTHER" and let me know the size in the comments.  Please know that special sizes may take longer to be ready.

      They are ordered ONCE A MONTH from the UK and your finished ring generally takes a minimum of 8 weeks from the time your inclusion arrives.  It may take longer or shorter depending on what is happening behind the scenes for me.

    • STONE IDEAS: For ideas on how you'd like the stone to look please take a look at the various GALLERIES of past creations in the Main Menu.

    • METAL OPTIONS: This ring may also be available in a Gold Filled and also Solid Gold in Yellow or Rose Gold.  If these are not visible in those sections, please message me and ask for a quote and I can get the latest pricing from my supplier within a couple of days generally.

JEWELLERY INFORMATION

I purchase the jewellery setting as a “blank” (it arrives without a stone). Once your inclusions are received, I create the stone here in my Bayles workshop and set it into your piece, made especially for you.
CUBIC ZIRCONIA JEWELLERY - MUST READ!

Cubic Zirconias (CZ) – Important Note

Jewellery that includes small cubic zirconia (CZ) stones can, on occasion, lose a stone over time. This can depend on how the stones were set by the manufacturer before I receive the piece, and also on wear, knocks, and everyday handling.

Important: Harris Wood Creative Studio cannot take responsibility for any CZ stones that become loose or fall out. My suppliers also do not cover replacement of lost stones. If a CZ needs replacing, it will need to be replaced by a local jeweller at your cost.

If you have a jeweller replace a CZ stone, please tell them the main stone is made from high quality resin (and may contain precious inclusions). Some cleaning methods, chemicals, heat, or polishing processes can damage resin if the jeweller is not aware.
RINGS: SIZING & AVAILABILITY

I only keep a small selection of ring sizes in stock. In most cases, your size will need to be ordered in from the U.K or other country. Ordering is usually done in a monthly cycle, depending on minimum order quantities and current supplier availability.
PENDANTS: AVAILABILITY

Due to the increase in silver costs, sterling silver pendants kept in stock is limited. I do my best to keep at least one (or more) in stock where possible, but some designs may need to be ordered in once current stock is sold.
SOLID GOLD: OPTIONS & AVAILABILITY

Alot of the silver jewellery range is also available in Solid Gold - in 9k Yellow, White or Rose.

I don’t keep solid gold pieces in stock. All solid 9K gold options are made to order, and turnaround is extended by approximately 6 weeks. This is because gold pieces are made to order by hand in the UK, and also require hallmarking at the London Assay Office before they are sent to me.

METAL QUALITY

All precious metal jewellery is generally designed & carefully crafted by jewellery artists in the UK (unless otherwise stated) and the stone is then personally created by Kathy in our workshop in Australia (Victoria) using extremely hard wearing, waterproof resin that is guaranteed to never go yellow with normal wear avoiding harsh chemicals.

Precious metals are used that is Solid Silver - either Sterling or Argentinian and will be stated in descriptions.

Gold Filled, Vermeil Plated and Solid Gold in various strengths, are available in some pieces.

In the Unisex range of Channel Rings Tungsten, Titanium and other metals are available.

Stainless Steel is also offered in a smaller range for those wanting it.

RING SIZE

If you don't know your ring size there are a few options open to you.

  • You can order a ring sizer from me and can be sent to you for a fee of $7 which is refundable upon the return of the ring sizer.
  • Alternatively, go to a local jeweller and let them know you need to be sized for a Memorial Ring and would appreciate their help. BUT if you are ordering a wide channel ring please let them know as you are generally sized up one size to allow for the width.
  • If you are dropping off your elements to Bayles we can size you then.

CRYSTALS, OPALS & EFFECTS

All these memorial rings are handmade in the UK by a talented Silver Smith and preservist.  They are sterling EcoSilver (925 plus purity) and ethically sourced Agentium Silver (935 - 940 purity). Argentium Silver is low tarnish.

Gold Filled 14ct gold may also be available - this is not Solid Gold but an affordable better option to Gold Plated. Please contact me to discuss.

The 3mm & 6mm wide band, Twisted Band & Bubbles Band is made from Agentium Silver (935 purity minimum) with a 10mm scalloped wire bezel cup made from EcoSilver (925 purity). Read about the silver our Silversmith uses HERE. These rings are handmade individually and this means each item may have unique characteristics.

We also offer solid gold ring settings in 9ct, 14ct and 18ct yellow gold and red or rose gold. These are quite expensive $2,000 upwards. These will be ordered from the UK so please allow this in your expectations of turnaround. If there’s a precious metal you’d like for a particular ring setting and you don’t see the option just get in touch. We’re happy to price higher carat gold, platinum, and palladium.

Ring Size

If you don't know your ring size a ring sizer can be sent to you for a fee of $7 which is refundable upon return of the ring sizer. YOUR INCLUSIONS

GETTING YOUR INCLUSIONS TO ME:

You can drop off to Bayles or you can post them. You can post all types of inclusions including Breastmilk.

If you choose to drop off to Bayles, you can arrange a time or you can come at your convenience and place the inclusions in the black locked box attached to the wall on my front verandah where they will be safe. Then advise me they are there.

DO NOT SEND ALL YOUR INCLUSIONS

  • Ashes - send 1/4 teaspoon for up to 2 jewellery pieces.  DO NOT SEND ALL YOU HAVE.
    If you deliver these to Bayles, I can seperate a small amount for you if you prefer.
  • Breastmilk - send a sachet or 10ml. It can be frozen or fresh and even though it may arrive defrosted, it is okay for us to freeze again before processing. It doesn't matter how long it has been in your freezer - even if it is years, it is still usable. It can be safely posted from any location in Australia or dropped at to Bayles.
  • Hair & Fur - just a small amount. Make sure you send only a little and keep at least half behind of what you have. I can work with a very small amount if needed.
  • Other elements - discuss with Kathy.

If you send your inclusions, please ensure everything is at least double ZIPLOCKED bagged and your name and order number is on bags so there is no chance of mixing them up when they arrive. 

Please also have Aust Post TRACKING on your envelope or packaging - this is important for your peace of mind.

PROCESS

Full respect and care is given to each and every order to ensure there are no mixups of inclusions. Everything used in your order has your name & order number on it so you can rest assured there'll be no mixups.

Any leftover inclusions such as ashes and hair will be returned along with any sample items created for preference choosing. These can be used in other items at the time if you choose.

If sufficient is supplied, a 5mls tube of your milk will be stored in our freezer and remaining preserved milk powder will be kept in case it is needed again in the future. Excess liquid breastmilk is not returned.

Kathy Is trained in Reiki level 2 and whilst she's not a practitioner of Reiki, the basic knowledge of placing positive healing energy into her work is important to her and all work is completed in an intuitive manner.

If possible please send a photo online or with inclusions, of the relevant people for Kathy to focus on whilst creating your jewellery.
