These key tags are designed as keepsake memorial items and are not intended for daily use with house or car keys. The resin stone may become damaged with regular key use. For everyday carry, we recommend our pendant designs which offer better protection for the memorial stone.

BEFORE YOU ORDER

Please take a moment to read the MORE INFORMATION section at the bottom of this page for all the information about inclusions, turnaround and care.

You are always welcome to message me - I'm here to help you keep the process simple and your keepsake meaningful.

JEWELLERY INFORMATION

I purchase the jewellery setting as a β€œblank” (it arrives without a stone). Once your inclusions are received, I create the stone here in my Bayles workshop and set it into your piece, made especially for you.

RINGS: SIZING & AVAILABILITY

To keep pricing as fair as possible, I only keep a small selection of ring sizes in stock (and occasionally a limited number may still be at pre-2026 pricing). In most cases, your size will need to be ordered in from the U.K. Ordering is usually done in a monthly cycle, depending on minimum order quantities and current supplier availability.

Stainless Steel Benefits

There are so many benefits to choosing stainless steel over a precious metal! It's highly durable, won't tarnish, hypoallergenic, and perfect for those with body chemistry that creates tarnish easily with sterling silver.

More Information

How your item is made

Each jewellery piece begins with a blank setting, carefully sourced from our trusted overseas suppliers, usually in the UK or Canada. Your stone is then individually handcrafted using your precious inclusions by Kathy in her workshop in Bayles, Melbourne, using the finest Australian-made resin -the only resin guaranteed never to yellow. Once the stone is complete, a photo is sent to you for approval or any requested refinements before the jewellery is lovingly finalised.

METAL QUALITY

All precious metal jewellery is generally designed & carefully crafted by jewellery artists in the UK (unless otherwise stated) and the stone is then personally created by Kathy in our workshop in Australia (Victoria) using extremely hard wearing, waterproof resin that is guaranteed to never go yellow with normal wear avoiding harsh chemicals.

Precious metals are used that is Solid Silver - either Sterling or Argentinian and will be stated in descriptions.

Gold Filled, Vermeil Plated and Solid Gold in various strengths, are available in some pieces.

In the Unisex range of Channel Rings Tungsten, Titanium and other metals are available.

Stainless Steel is also offered in a smaller range for those wanting it.

RING SIZE

If you don't know your ring size there are a few options open to you.

  • You can order a ring sizer from me and can be sent to you for a fee of $7 which is refundable upon the return of the ring sizer.
  • Alternatively, go to a local jeweller and let them know you need to be sized for a Memorial Ring and would appreciate their help. BUT if you are ordering a wide channel ring please let them know as you are generally sized up one size to allow for the width.
  • If you are dropping off your elements to Bayles we can size you then.

COLOUR CHOICES

Lots of information on making your choices found at this link.

After reading that page your colour choices and other effect choices can be listed in comments or discussed with Kathy personally so that creation of something truly special is then crafted for you.Β

You can drop off to Bayles or you can post them. You can post all types of inclusions including Breastmilk.

If you choose to drop off to Bayles, you can arrange a time or you can come at your convenience and place the inclusions in the black locked box attached to the wall on my front verandah where they will be safe. Then advise me they are there.
